Fourball betterball knockout 2022
The inaugural 2022 Middlesex Fourball Betterball will run from the 1st of March with the final taking place on Sunday the 25th of September at a venue to be confirmed.
This year, there were 20 entries. In order for the bracket to work, 12 teams were chosen at random to receive a bye into Round 2. The remaining 8 teams play Round 1. The 4 winners from Round 1 will meet the 12 byes in Round 2 to make up the eight matches in the Second Round.
Please note: The order of the draw will be determined by lot drawn by the County Operations Manager. The first pair drawn will be the top-named pair on the draw sheet and will be the “Home Pair”. The pair drawn as their opponent will be the bottom-named pair on the draw sheet and will be the “Away Pair”.
The pair that reports the result of their match first will receive the advantage of being the top pair, and thus have “home” advantage in the next round.
