Match played on a perfect day for golf, warm sun and no wind. The only drawback was that from above the hole the putting was alottery.Parsons and Souris lost a 2 hole lead to a rare birdie on 17 and par on 18.However Niall Keogh birdied 18 in the next match for a half The magle brothers fought out a close match until their opponents holed 2 great putts on14 and 15 to go 3 up.Tom holed 6 FOOTER to reducethe deficit but they were closed out 2/1. Unfortunetly Adaam and Aneesh could not recover from a bad start. 3-1 down was a mountain to climb and we never looked like doing it.A great win for Adaam was capped with a 50 fooer for birdie on 17. Tom Nagle, in his 1st outing for the colts showed a lot of grit to come from behind, late on ,for a half. Dan Parsons (captain) in the 1st match got a good halfApoint for the day was the least he was due.Matt hung on very well, only going under on the 17th.Ben,Freddie,and Aneesh will have better daysWell done Essex, we lost to the better team on the day. Thanks to Bob anb Ray for the support and company.Pinner Hill treated all of us very well in every way and a special thanks to P.H.G.C. Ken Hall who welcomed us all early in the morning and acted as Starter.Eamon (manager)
