 Middlesex 1st team beat BB&O.

The day started badly, when Middlesex lost Captain Justin Phelps through illness, but luckily Matt Frost dropped everything and made his debut for our 1st team.

Morning session couldn't have gone any better for Middlesex, after the team whitewashed BB&O in the foursomes.

Pavan Sagoo/Dave Ryan won 5&4.                                                                                     Tommy King/Niall Keogh won 5&4.                                                                                        Dave Ginn/Robbie Johnson won 6&4.                                                                                   Danial Parsons/Matt Frost won 3&2.

Our single matches started extremely badly for Middlesex and after 9 holes, BB&O was up in 6 out of 8 matches, with Middlesex morning lead not looking good at this stage.

Danial Parsons lost 7&6, Niall Keogh lost 4&3, David Ryan lost 3&2, Pavan lost 2&1, so BB&O had our match level at 4 - 4.

Matt Frost turned his match round from 2 down after 9 holes and was exteremely unlucky not to win his match on the 18th holes, after being 1 up after 17 holes. Tommy King birdied the 14th, 17th and 18th holes to win his match 2 up, Dave Ginn won on the 18th hole to secure victory for Middlesex. Robbie Johnson then won his match on the last hole.

Final Result: Middlesex 7.5 BB&O 4.5
