Boys' Under 14's get season underway

Firstly, I would like to thank the parents again for making sure the boys all arrived on time with appropriate attire for playing, and for the meal afterwards.

We had unbelievable weather considering the rain lately, sunshine all day!

The boys played well against a very strong opposition in Hertfordshire, but were defeated.

As always, we had a very competitive match with Bedfordshire, and this time around came out on top with a 7.5 - 0.5 victory!

Mikael Khursheed put in an outstanding performance on the day, winning both of his matches. Well done Mikael!

Special thanks to the reserves, Conrad Segal, who turned 9 last week, played against two 14 year-olds! Well done Conrad. We will definitely be seeing you in the future. Also, thanks and well done to Jamie Owen, his was his first game for the County and he was well supported by his mum and sister.

As ever, a big thank you to Marylyn Fuller for her assistance in the organisation of the day.

Look forward to seeing you all at our next match on 22 April at Sudbury GC against Surrey.
