Priyanka Parmar wins 2019 Ladies' County Championship

The Championship took place at Bush Hill Park Golf Club in dry and mild conditions. Following a closely fought 36-hole medal competition on Friday, 4 ladies and girls progressed to the semi finals of the Championship on Saturday morning. The semi finalists were Priyanka Parmar (Pinner Hill) Angela Spelman (Sudbury) Jessica Brown (Bush Hill Park) and Nicola Grover (Sudbury).

Priyanka and Nicola won closely fought matches in the morning to set up a truly competitive final. The final was played in great spirit and both players produced some beautiful golf, but it was Pinner Hill's, Priyanka, that came out on top, winning 3&2.

Many congratulations to our new Champion, who played superbly over the two days.

Priyanka also won the Kenilworth Cup for lowest gross aggregate score (156) on Friday.

The Tippy Trophy for lowest net score (133) was won by Bush Hill Park's rising star, Jessica Brown.

The course was in excellent condition with fast greens, the food and service provided by the catering team was excellent and the team of referees was provided by Middlesex Chief Referee, Robbie Martin.

Bush Hill Park's ladies section supplied starters and assistants in the Halfway House, whom we are very grateful to.

The strokeplay scores and the knockout draw are shown on the website.
