Middlesex U18s v Hertfordshire v BB&O

In our final match of the season our U18s team lost narrowly to our extremely strong opponents at Mill Green in Hertfordshire. The match scores were 5-3 against Middlesex in both contests. Both Ben Davies and Ryan Georgiou excelled in winning both of their singles matches whilst team captain Arran Kanth and Thomas Pritchett won one of their matches. Unfortunately our attempts to cause an upset were hampered when James Waugh retired injured after 9 holes with a strained back - we wish him a speedy recovery.

All those who have represented Middlesex U18s this season have performed extremely well and an excellent team spirit has been engendered where we have regularly performed above expectations. A special note to Manato Nakatani, one of Middlesex’s ‘rising stars’ who soon leaves us for ‘pastures new’ for the Gold Coast of Australia. We all at Middlesex U18s wish you, your sister Haruhi and family our very best wishes for the  future. You will always be welcomed back in Middlesex!
