Middlesex U18s lose out to BB&O and Herts

A warm welcome at Batchworth Park GC was followed by very tough opponents on a tricky, windy course which was in excellent condition. Hertfordshire once more continue to produce excellent youngsters and we finished on the losing side 7-1 albeit with a few close encounters whilst a match against the 3 counties were a much closer affair losing 5-3. A word for Highgate’s Harrison Riche playing his 1st ever match for the county where he had a superb win against his BB&O opponent as did Enfield’s Tom Pritchett. Drafted in at the last moment young Joe Pitts (Enfield) gave an outstanding display of golf dispatching both of his opponents at the back of the field. A big thank you to Will Orridge (Enfield) who captained the team on his final appearance. Will will be an excellent addition to the Colts team.

Our U18s team has had a much improved season and our thanks especially go to Charles Sandison-Wood who is proving an inspirational coach and mentor to our players. We have much to look forward to next season. Thank you to all the players who have represented the County U18s boys this season and parents for their continued support.
