North Middlesex GC with a clean sweep at Mixed Open

On a sweltering hot day at North Middlesex GC, 60 men and women took to the course to compete for the popular Middlesex Mixed Open. Ben and all his green staff had the course in immaculate condition and Peter, Kim, and Izzy and all the staff at North Middlesex ensured that all the competitors were well fed, watered, and looked after. It really was a treat for anyone who played. The welcome at North Middlesex is second to none and we know that we speak on behalf of the players when we say that we always enjoy visiting the club.

Despite the hot conditions and some tricky pin postions, there was some great scoring. There were four scores of 40 points or better. Home course advantage obviously had a part to play as NMGC members had a clean sweep, winning all the prizes. But it was Arlene Bailey and he husband Keith who had the round of the day with 43 points and winning by two.

Final scores can be viewed on our website HERE.

Winners - Arlene and Keith Bailey

2nd place - Patrick King and Carol Felton

3rd Place - NMGC Captain Tom Shanahan & Emma Kanutin
