Notice for AGM

The 2022 Middlesex AGM is scheduled to take place online, via Zoom, on Tuesday the 1st of February at 7 pm.

This meeting is open to all members of affiliated Middlesex golf clubs and as usual, only the designated Club Delegate is able to vote. 

This AGM is primarily to approve the Financial Statement for last year, confirm the auditors and elect directors to the board. In the light of the unprecedented two years that we have just experienced our Chairman, Ray Andrews can confirm that the current board has agreed to continue in office until this time next year.

However, this does not prevent anyone wishing to join the board by having their name put forward and under the circumstances, a position would be made for them. Two items to note regarding the positions …

  • The next vice-president must be a female, as per our Articles of Association.
  • The Director of Development role is vacant.

All of the relevant information regarding our activities in 2021 have already been shared with the members at the recent General Meeting in November and will not be repeated at the AGM. Any matters regarding the topics discussed at the General Meeting may be raised at the AGM.
