COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS 2024

Jack Neill and Lucy Handley are County Champions for 2024. Jack faced a tough opponent in Justin Phelps from Northwood. The match was keenly contested with Jack winning at the second extra hole. 

Lucy Handley faced Enfield’s Lucy Labdon. Again, a tough tussle which went all the way with Lucy Handley emerging as winner by a score of 2 up. 

Hosts Sudbury are the Champion Club for 2024, just edging Ealing in second place and Enfield in third place.

The course at Sudbury was in excellent condition. All of the players commented on the quality of the greens, fast but true. The greens Team are thanked and praised for presenting a fantastic course and a true test for the County’s flag-ship event of the season. Sudbury were superb hosts and a huge thanks to Joe, Will, James, Danny, Dave and the greens team, Captains Manix and Jenny, and our starters – John and Graham.

We move on to Northwood Golf Club for County Championships in 2025 and hope to see you there.
